Happy Halloween 2015!

Happy Halloween!  Nolan had two costumes to enjoy this year!  We knew that Russell from the Up! movie would be a perfect little costume for Nolan, and I got to work a few weeks ahead of time on creating the DIY costume by collecting lots of items for his backpack, as well as crafting his sash, pins, hat, flag and hanging beads.  Pinterest majorly helped us in finding all the little details, and I absolutely love how the final costume came out, with Dug the dog and his balloons as those extra special touches!

Nolan's second costume was something I wanted him to enjoy and be a super fan of, so his recent love of Winnie the Pooh made a great option for him to choose!  We had our beanie made locally and splurged on some amazing Pooh Disney Vans that are to.die.for.  Nolan absolutely loved this costume, and each time he wore it (for multiple events) he was sure to point out and show off his hat and shoes to every single person he came across!  Definitely adorable.

For fun, now that my pregnant bloat is starting to become a bump, I decided to dress it up with Nolan's Pooh theme and be a Honey Pot for the night!  Nolan thought it was fun to poke and tried to pull of the bees numerous times, but he definitely took the cake as the cutest little Pooh Bear!  (Preggo belly measuring 12 weeks on Halloween!)

For Halloween night, we joined the Luks family, as per tradition, and enjoyed some time at their house with a yummy potluck and letting the kids play.  After eating, we geared up and headed out for Trick-or-Treating, adventuring over to our side of the neighborhood for the huge block party that is thrown every year, and then back to their side to finish our Trick-or-Treating.  After Nolan gained a full honeypot of loot, we called it a night and spent the rest of the time hanging out with everyone and letting the kiddos play.  I didn't get too many pictures from this night, but we love having this as a yearly tradition spending with our besties, and can't wait to add another kiddo to the mix next year!!
