Acelyn Roe is ONE!

Acelyn had her first birthday pictures taken a few weeks back, and now that her party is finished, we can post her pictures!  There are sooo many that I love, so get ready for some picture overload, because I just can't narrow them down!  We met with a new photographer, Maria Pace Photography, and absolutely adored her.  If you are in the market for some photos in the Henderson/Vegas area, book her now!  She's amazing.

Acelyn was a little shy with her photo-taking, but soon warmed up with a few smiles here and there.  She wasn't shy about her cake smash, where she wore most of her cake, and I love that Maria included Nolan in her session too, since I had him along for the session and, of course, he was alllllll about the cake when the time came!  We were dying of laughter towards the end where Acelyn was trying to give kisses to Nolan, Nolan was too focused on eating the cake, and the cake was just completely tipped over off of the stand.  So. freaking. cute!

These pictures came out exactly how I envisioned them, and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out.  I loved our accessories (Acelyn's hat from Adorned Creations and our antique store wooden rocking horse find, as well as our party hat from Little Blue Olive, "one" onesie from Couture Flower and rose skirt to pair perfectly) to go with her Kentucky Derby themed party, and the photos made the perfect accent to display for decorations.  She nailed Acelyn's personality in each shot, from her shy faces to her RBF faces to her happy smiles and the look of adoration towards her brother.  I still can't believe my little lady is ONE!  It goes by all too quickly, but we sure do love who she is becoming and her role in our family.
