Acelyn had her very first photoshoot when she was exactly one week old! Our photographer, Kyla, (be sure to check out her work- Kyla Groneman Photography, she's great!) met with us at our home and took the best care of us and my babies! She worked so well with Nolan and he had a blast with her... he still talks about "Kya" taking his pictures when we look through them! She was extremely patient with us, because a two year old and a newborn who doesn't want to sleep isn't the easiest of circumstances, and even though Acelyn didn't want to do too many sleepy shots, Kyla still managed to get some amazing ones that we are in love with!
I love having these photos as wonderful memories of our new family of four, especially since they are a look at our life in the first few weeks at home, adjusting to our new normal, rather than posed photos taken in a studio. I love that I can look through these pictures and see the love Nolan has for his little sister and the sweet innocence of Acelyn's newness, and that I'll be able to hold on to those moments forever.
